
UNCASVILLE, CT – This Thursday, January 30, CES Boxing hosts a press conference at Mohegan Sun Casino’s Wolf Den to announce the massive ‘Love and War’ card taking place at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, February 15, 2025, starting at 4pm EST.
In attendance will be top welterweight contender “Speedy” Rashidi Ellis (25-1, 16 KOs), who is fresh off a second-round annihilation of tough Argentine Brian Chaves in October. The 31-year-old Lynn, MA native will battle former Ecuadorian champion Jose Angulo for the vacant WBC US Silver Welterweight Championship as he works his way to a world title shot in 2025.
Also on hand will be a pair of featherweight champions, including NABA Featherweight Champion Carlos Gonzalez (14-0, 13 KOs) of Springfield, MA, who looks to defend his title against Nicaragua’s Alex Espinoza (23-6-2, 8 KOs), and WBC USA Silver Featherweight Champion Ricky Delossantos, of Providence, RI, who will be defending his title in a New England war against Brockton, MA’s “King” Kevin Walsh, who will also be in attendance.
Several top prospects who are fighting on the undercard will also take the stage to discuss their bouts, including Steven Sumpter, Ali Feliz, Joseph “J-Elite” Chisholm, Carlos Ojeda Perez, Anthony Nieves and Kevin Mojica.
Fight fans and media are invited to attend the press conference for exclusive interviews with the fighters and CES Boxing founder Jimmy Burchfield, Sr.
