Recent cases of the intestinal illness cyclosporiasis have been linked to shredded iceberg lettuce served at some Taco Bell locations in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia, according to aration.The FDA investigation has identified a single supplier of iceberg lettuce from Mexico used by the Taco Bell locations where sick people ate.
ABC News reached out to Taco Bell Thursday but did not immediately hear back
On Tuesday, the restaurant provided a statement that said in part, “The health and safety of our guests is our top priority … We will continue to closely monitor the situation and follow the guidance of public health authorities.”
