SIOUX FALLS, S.D.— Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls has once again earned a 5-star rating by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This national distinction recognizes Sanford Health’s quality measures and its continued effort in providing safe, quality health care to its patients
This designation places Sanford USD Medical Center among a select group of hospitals nationwide meeting and exceeding high quality healthcare standards

The CMS quality ratings condense a variety of measurables in key areas. The five measure groups that are scored for each participating hospital include:

- Readmission
- Patient Experience
- Timely & Effective Care
