Patchology has introduced a skin care collection designed to bridge the gap between skin health and emotional well-being. The launch taps into the growing neurocosmetic trend, where brands, suppliers, and consumers are all interested in how beauty and emotional states can intertwine.
Good Day by Patchology is touted to be rooted in wellness and backed by science. The range aims to transform everyday skin care into “intuitive, sensorial rituals that deliver visible results while bringing moments of joy.”
Mood-boosting beauty
The collection is powered by Patchology’s proprietary ingredient complex, Molecular Sunshine. It combines the brand’s transdermal expertise with ingredients that are said to mimic the benefits of sunshine, without the damaging rays.
The company claims the complex amplifies ingredient performance while supporting skin barrier health for a radiant, mood-boosting glow.
“With Good Day, we started with a simple idea: everyone knows how a great day in the sunshine can make you look and feel your best. We wanted to bottle that feeling and help people find moments of joy in the everyday,” says Chris Hobson, CEO of Rare Beauty Brands, which owns Patchology.Brands increasingly frame daily skin care routines as small rituals of self-care.
Molecular Sunshine features French indigo extract, which Patchology says helps boost and support overall well-being and joy. Ectoin is featured to promote skin barrier health and deep hydration. Meanwhile, glycerin+ aids in skin enhancement and absorption of water-soluble ingredients.
“By combining rigorous clinical and consumer testing with fun-to-use, sensorial formulas, we’ve created products that deliver visible results while turning everyday skin care routines into moments people can look forward to,” adds Hobson.
Retail consumers want wellness
The six new dermatologist-tested products are available exclusively at retailer Ulta Beauty.
“At Ulta Beauty, we know our guests view their holistic beauty routine as a form of self-care. It’s an opportunity to pause, recharge, and find small moments of joy throughout even the busiest days. Our guests already know and love Patchology for its effective, easy-to-use patches and masks, making Good Day by Patchology a natural and exciting next step for the brand at Ulta Beauty,” says Laura Beres, VP, Wellness at Ulta Beauty
“With proprietary technology and sensorial, dermatologist-tested formulas designed to deliver visible results, this collection brings a fresh perspective to daily skin care rituals; from an energizing morning reset to a refreshing midday pick-me-up and a calming nighttime wind-down.”
