West Ham are closing in on the permanent signing of Tottenham winger Manor Solomon
Standard Sport understands that while a deal for the Israel international has yet to be finalised, it is now near to completion
West Ham are believed to have reached an initial agreement over a transfer worth £5million up front, plus a further £2m in add-ons. Spurs have also reportedly added a 10 per cent sell-on clause into the deal
A medical is expected to take place this weekend, with an official announcement to follow as West Ham secure their third signing of the summer

It had been reported that a deal for Solomon was on hold due to financial reasons, but those issues now appear to have been ironed out, with the 27-year-old set to bolster West Ham’s attack following thedeparture of Crysencio Summerville to Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilalfor around £60m
West Ham also sold Portuguese midfielder Mateus Fernandes to Tottenham following their relegation from the Premier League in a deal worth £85m

Solomon has featured heavily for Spurs in pre-season but played just six competitive games for the club since signing on a free transfer in 2023 from Shakhtar Donetsk, which followed a stint at Fulham
He spent the first half of last season on loan in Spain at Villarreal before being recalled in January and sent to Serie A side Fiorentina for the remainder of the campaign
Solomon previously spent time on loan at Leeds, where he earned promotion from the Championship. He will hope to do the same at West Ham this season
West Ham are in the market for several more signings before the end of the transfer window on September 1 as they look to secure promotion back to the top-flight at the first time of asking
