The Philadelphia 76ers have added some proven talent to the roster in an effort to beef up their efforts to end their long title drought. The franchise has not won a title since 1983 and the moves made by President of Basketball Operations Mike Gansey have put the franchise in a great position to end that drought
Along with the big additions made by Jaylen Brown and LeBron James, the front office brought in the likes of 2-time champion Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. The 13-year veteran out of Georgia won a title with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020 and the Denver Nuggets in 2023. He will bring that championship know-how to Philadelphia
Another aspect Caldwell-Pope will bring to the floor is his 3-point shot. He is a career 36.5% shooter from deep and he will bring another shooting aspect to the Sixers. Despite what he has proven in the games, the veteran is still in the gym putting in work to prepare for his new chapter
The Sixers will need Caldwell-Pope to continue knocking down 3s at a high rate and give Philadelphia the presence it will need for the second unit as time moves forward
