Country Life said the acquisition aligns with its long-term strategy of expanding across complementary wellness categories while leveraging its manufacturing, distribution, and brand-building capabilities
“Aura Cacia is a strong fit within the Country Life family,” said Rob Robillard, chief executive officer of Country Life. “Together, we bring more than a century of combined experience helping consumers live healthier, more balanced lives. Aura Cacia will continue operating as a standalone brand within the Country Life portfolio. For Country Life, the acquisition broadens its exposure to a category that has seen sustained consumer demand as interest in natural ingredients, aromatherapy, and holistic wellness continues to grow. The combination also creates opportunities to expand distribution, introduce complementary product offerings, and strengthen relationships with retailers serving the health and wellness market
Frontier Co-op said the sale enables it to sharpen its strategic focus on its core herbs and spices business while placing Aura Cacia with an owner positioned to invest in the brand’s future growth
“After stewarding Aura Cacia’s growth for more than 30 years, we believe this decision allows both organizations to focus, scale and thrive,” said Tony Bedard, chief executive officer of Frontier Co-op. “Country Life has the expertise and resources to help Aura Cacia fully capitalize on the growing consumer demand for high-quality essential oils and aromatherapy products. We are proud to entrust this mission-driven brand to a partner that will build on the values that have made it successful, while we remain focused on our herbs and spices business with Frontier Co-op and Simply Organic brands.”
