“So everything we do here at CTI is really to help move medicine forward, to develop those new innovative treatments,” said Adam Roth, vice president of research site services for CTI

CTI researchers often work with vaccines, focusing on making sure they are safe and effective. The company has also put significant attention on GLP-1 drugs, which have grown in popularity. Researchers are studying how the drugs may help people with conditions such as diabetes or obstructive sleep apnea, in addition to helping people lose weight

“There’s different points where people have maybe plateaus in their <a href="https://healthylife7.com/what-is-singer-sung-si-kyung-eating-to-maintain-his-weight-loss/" title="What is singer Sung Si-kyung eating to maintain his weight loss?”>weight loss in assessing what can be done to move beyond those plateaus. There’s also tolerability issues with some of these medications,” Roth said

The company says participant safety is a top priority. CTI also emphasizes the informed consent process, aimed at ensuring patients understand the full scope of a research study before taking part

“We really go through what’s involved in participating in a study, making sure that it’s the right fit for that individual, that they feel a comfort with that study. We also go through, what are the risks and the benefits,” Roth said

CTI is also described as an industry leader in sleep studies, with staff able to monitor patients while they sleep to gather data on sleep disorders including insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders and narcolepsy

Roth said some of the biggest changes in medicine are emerging in cell and gene therapies

“Cell and gene therapies is really the big forefront of some of the biggest changes we’re seeing in our in our industry, and the ability to impact diseases that really have not had any solutions or cures,” he said

CTI is looking for people to participate in research studies. For more information, call 513-598-9290
