Watch:Benny Blanco’s Fear of Flying Has Him Taking a Ship to London for Selena Gomez’s Birthday

The music producer revealed that he took part in quite the diet experiment: only eating pizza for five days to see if he could lose weight.
As Blanco explained in an Aug. 19TikTok, he decided to try it in an effort “to prove you can lose weight eating literally anything.”And indeed, he dropped nearly five pounds thanks to the cheesy meal plan
The 38-year-old started the week weighing 152.2 pounds before digging into his pizza of choice: a large thin crust cheese pizza from Domino’s
“This is 1/16 of everything I can eat today,” he mused while holding up a slice on dayone, beforesharing that things took a turn onday two.“Just came back into work and someone ate like eight slices of my pizza.”
Day two also included a visit to the Sunset Tower Hotel with wifeSelena Gomez, who enjoyed her own meal from the Los Angeles hot spot while Blanco munched on his thin slicethat he held under the table

But even for a pizzalover,the experiment took its toll, with Blanco admitting on day three, “I’m tired of pizza. I hate my life.”
And on day five, he told the camera, “Idon’t even remember who I am as a human being. Like, what was life before pizza?”
Still, theconstant pizza wasn’t that bad as he noted he was feeling, “f–king good” with a “spring in my step.”

As for how his experiment ended? Blanco’s final weigh-in revealed his weight to be 147.5 pounds
“I just lost 4.7 pounds in five days eating only pizza,” he exclaimed. “Nothing matters. You can do whatever you want. F–k failure. F–k everything.”
Of course, Blanco is no stranger to a pizza party as he and Gomezcelebrated her birthday in Julywith an Italian feast during a cooking class at Il Borro Relais & Châteaux in Tuscany where they made pasta, stuffed zucchini flowers and eggplant parmigiana
“My baby makes the best eggplant parmigiana,” Blanco raved in a JulyInstagramvideo. “You scoop a little bit then you put it on a slice of bread. That’s the best thing I’ve tasted in Italy so far.”
Of course, the bonafide foodies have also documented their cooking adventures—like making watermelon pickle sandwiches—and even celebrated Valentine’s Dayin a bathtub of nachos.
