‘Stay-at-home dad’: Reports of Prince Harry’s new title send shockwaves through the UK as the Sussexes begin new life in the Cotswolds
Royal fans have been left fuming after reports of Prince Harry’s new title started making the rounds.

As the Sussexes return to the United Kingdom for an “extended period of time”, reports have suggested that Prince Harry will take on a four-word title as he settles into his new life in the English countryside.
The 41-year-old royal, along with his wife Meghan Markle, 45, and their two children Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five,touched down at Birmingham Airport on Wednesday, one week after news broke of the family’s plans to relocate across the pond.
While not much is known of the Sussexes’ UK move, they are believed to be basing themselves in the Cotswolds and have reportedly enrolled both of their kids in a local school
Now, multiple publications have suggested what life may look like for the family, with the Duchess of Sussex said to be returning to acting while continuing to grow her lifestyle brand As Ever, and Harry taking on a more home-centred role
The Duke of Sussex will be taking on the title of “stay-at-home dad”, The Times reported last week, adding that the royal plans on being a “school run father” as they return to the UK
Daily Mail chimed in with the claim, with Alison Boshoff reminding fans that Harry did, indeed, describe himself as a “full-time dad” while appearing on Joe Marler’s podcast last month
“The plan now is that he will indeed be the key at-home parent, while Meghan travels back and forth to their home in Montecito, California,” she added
Over the past few weeks, there have been numerous reports regarding Meghan’s acting career, with many linking her to Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen series, which she is said to be in talks to join for its third season.
However, multiple publications have stipulated that the Duke and Duchess will not resume their duties as working royals, thus leaving Harry’s UK plans in the dark.
Suggestion that the royal would step into a home-based role has ruffled feathers amongst royal fans on social media, with many unimpressed by the Duke’s alleged plans to solely focus on his family.
One wrote on X: “‘Staying at home dad’? You still have nannies, housekeepers, chefs and gardeners. The kids are at school until mid-afternoon. Watching Archie play rugby once a week does not make you a stay-at-home dad. That’s not how it works, hun.”
“Haz a stay home dad—- no F****** way…” a second wrote.

Others, however, raced to Prince Harry’s defence, pointing out that while he may be spending a large amount of time at home, he will no doubt be working on Invictus projects and other charitable ventures.
“You have to be a special kind of daft to not realise Harry will be very busy with Invictus and all the other charities he supports as well as launching some kind of commercial enterprise for veterans, which he’s hinted at,” one fan penned.
Another person sarcastically wrote: “So people don’t work from home in the UK? How behind is that island? There are billionaires running their companies from all around the world. From their vacation homes. Harry has several jobs.”
