$40K grant sought by Apache Junction nonprofit for rural nutrition program

A request to authorize the submission of a grant application by Horizon Health and Wellness in Apache Junction for $40,350 for a rural nutrition program was approved recently by the Pinal County Board of Supervisors
The board voted 4-0 July 1 on a consent agenda with other items to approve a resolution seeking the funding from the Ak Chin Indian <a href="https://healthylife7.com/free-community-workouts-honoring-officer-jake-wallin/” title=”Free community workouts honoring Officer Jake Wallin”>Community Shared Revenue Program and for Pinal County to serve as the fiscal agent. Supervisor Stephen Q. Miller was absent
