Health officials are investigating a spike in cyclosporiasis, a parasitic illness nicknamed the “explosive diarrhea parasite.” Here’s how it spreads, the symptoms to watch for and what the CDC says so far.
The new data, released on Friday, said that there are now 94 cases in the state. DPH said that 43 were acquired domestically and 12 were acquired internationally, while the origin of the other 39 cases is unknown
