LA Fitness set to close location in Cordova. What to know

Cordova’s LA Fitness location is set to close soon
The national gym chain will close the doors of its location, 773 N Germantown Pkwy., on Aug. 5. The location is the third oldest LA Fitness in Memphis, in operation for nearly 10 years
Members who list the Cordova location as their primary gym will have their membership access expanded to every location nationwide. The closest ones to the Germantown Pkwy. location are at 8864 U.S. 64 and 1285 Ridgeway Road
Members can access their LA Fitness gym membership account on the company’s website or cancel their account by going to “account summary” and selecting “cancel membership.”
An LA Fitness gym membership starts at $30. ATC Fitness starts at $15 per month as does Planet Fitness, and Crunch Fitness at $10. Of the major chains, only Orangetheory Fitness runs higher at a $70 base cost
There’s still five LA Fitness locations left in the Memphis area, with one each in Bartlett, Lakeland, East Memphis, Germantown and Collierville
