Before reporting to Broncos Park Powered by CommonSpirit for the start of training camp later this month, Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix returned to his home state of Alabama for offseason training and conditioning
“Obviously grew up, [from] seventh grade on, we were in Alabama in the southern heat for the summer, and this was just normal,” Nix said in a workout video posted on his Instagram page. “Didn’t know any better, but out in Colorado, it’s not this humid, so I don’t feel like I sweat this bad
“So when you get back here, I feel like I’m really training, really getting ready. I feel like the season is right around the corner when it feels like this. It’s a good feeling; I feel like I’ve put in work. I feel like it was a successful day.”
Nix, 26, appears to have recovered from the broken ankle he suffered in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs in January, and he seems to be on track for training camp, which begins on July 31
