Rosie O’Donnellis back in the U.S., getting ready to debut her one-woman Broadway show ‘Common Knowledge,’ and opening up about some very personal changes. The comedian and actress recently spoke with Entertainment Tonight, opening up about the staggering cost of her facelift and about losing weight on Mounjaro
How much did Rosie O’Donnell’s facelift cost?
While Rosie didn’t dish on the exact price of her lower facelift, she did share a ballpark figure, saying, “It’s kind of expensive. It was more expensive than any car I’ve ever purchased.”
The actress continued, explaining why she chose to get a facelift, “I had very big marionette lines from losing weight on Mounjaro for three years.”

She also told
, “But I had this extra skin and these big lines and people in Ireland are like, ‘Rosie, are you alright love?’ I’m like, why? ‘You look so sad.’ I’m like, ‘It’s not me, it’s my face.'”
Of course, this isn’t the first time that O’Donnell has spoken publicly about her decision to have a facelift
In May, she posted a before and after photo on Instagram and wrote about the procedure on her Substack: “I used to feel very strongly about facelifts. Not casually – morally. I had assigned myself as head of all women who would never – ever. I thought it was a betrayal. Of feminism. Of aging. Of our team of women worldwide. And then I lost 50 pounds.”
She also got candid about body image, her child’s opinion on her decision, and acceptance, “And then I had this quiet realization…if I’m teaching Clay anything, it can’t be that my body belongs to an idea either. Even a good idea. Even feminism.”
What did Rosie O’Donnell say about her recent weight loss?
O’Donnell also revealed to EThow she used the popular GLP-1 medication to lose weight, “For three years I’ve been on Mounjaro. Now, I don’t do what most people do when they go up really quickly. I stay on one dose a full year,” adding, “That’s what my doctor decided for my diabetes and what would be best for me. So I lose about 20 to 25 pounds a year. And this is my third year. So I’m at like 60-something pounds.” But that’s not the only good news

The former daytime host/soon-to-be quest nighttime host (she’s filling in for Jimmy Kimmel this August) continued, “And now I can buy clothes off the rack. I don’t have to like go and try everything on to see what fits. I know I have a size that works, that fits, that you know, and I feel so much better. You know, I really do.”
