Wash. (KPTV) – Officials are investigating a <a href="https://healthylife7.com/delaware-declares-measles-outbreak-after-4-confirmed-cases/” title=”Delaware declares measles outbreak after 4 confirmed cases”>confirmed case of measles in an unvaccinated Clark County child that was reported Wednesday
The health department says while it’s unknown when and where the child was exposed to measles, the child tested positive at a healthcare facility in Vancouver while they were contagious
Anyone who visited the Vancouver Clinic at 2525 NE 139th St. on July 17 between 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. is asked to contact their contact their healthcare provider
Vancouver Clinic says they are working with the Clark County Public Health to reach out to patients and staff who may have been exposed
The clinic asks any patients who are experiencing measles symptoms to call them in advance at 360-882-2778 before visiting a clinic. Common measles symptoms include: runny nose, cough, red irritated eyes, rash, and fever
