Some new lifestyle businesses are coming to Mayville

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from May 11-15. The county does not provide transaction information, but real estate documents are available for review at the clerk’s office

During this time period, Sunnyside Ventures 716, LLC purchased 11 South Erie St., Mayville for $120,000 and 31 S. Erie St., for $130,000

At 31 S. Erie St. is a sign that states “Coming soon: Paradiso Spa and Suites” which is described as a “boutique wellness retreat featuring spa services, luxury suites, relaxation, and recovery experiences.”

At 11 S. Erie St. is a sign that states “Coming soon: Performance at Paradiso” for elite training, recovery and coaching and “Fuel at Paradiso” for smoothies, protein shakes, and healthy grab and go

A post on Facebook states, “Our goal is to create spaces focused on wellness, recovery, movement, relaxation, and community right here in Mayville. Renovations are underway and we’re excited to continue breathing new life into these downtown buildings. We can’t wait to share the transformation with everyone as progress continues. Thank you for all the encouragement and support already — we’re excited for what’s ahead for our community.”

Officials with Paradiso said they don’t have an opening date scheduled yet

In a separate sale, French Creek Land Management, LLC sold 3196 Rt. 426, Mina for $480,000. Maplevale Farms purchased that address in 2025 for it to construct a new $41 million distribution facility. It had been a farm. It appears after the sale went through, the property was subdivided and this parcel piece, which is about 157 acres, was sold off. French Creek Land Management still owns a 41 acre parcel there

Also during this time, 23-25 and 27-29 E. Main St., Falconer were sold to 23 E. Main, LLC for $675,000. These downtown Falconer buildings have vacant businesses on the ground floor with apartments above them

In addition, Rapid Response Rentals, LLC sold 96, 100 and 116 Institute St., Jamestown to Clear Choice Towing, LLC for $80,000. This complex appears to be empty. In the past it has held different businesses, including an HVAC company and a vehicle repair shop
