Singer and producer Park Jin-young said he overcame the atopic dermatitis that had troubled him for 40 years through an organic diet, and revealed that he is investing about 2 billion won a year in the JYP Entertainment cafeteria so employees can share the same meals

On the JTBC variety show “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator,” which aired on the 26th, Park Jin-young’s refrigerator was revealed for the first time. The inside was packed with various organic ingredients, while the freezer was almost empty, drawing attention from the cast

That day, Park Jin-young said he had overcome the atopic dermatitis and rhinitis that had long troubled him through an organic diet

He recalled, “My atopic dermatitis was so severe that I couldn’t scratch it, so I was always patting my body. I started studying autoimmune diseases because I wondered if I would have to live like this for the rest of my life.”

He added, “I started an organic diet for three months, thinking I should keep harmful things out of my blood. After that, for the first time in 40 years, I was able to breathe through my nose while sleeping. It has already been 12 years since I last scratched my body.”

Having experienced firsthand how his health improved through an organic diet, Park Jin-young explained that he applied the same principle to the company cafeteria because he did not want to be the only one eating good food

Park Jin-young said, “I wouldn’t be able to face the employees if I were the only one eating well. The company cafeteria serves exactly what I eat. Employees, singers and trainees all eat the same meals.”

He said he also maintains strict standards not only for ingredients but also for the cooking process. He surprised viewers by revealing that the cafeteria uses only cold-pressed organic cooking oil and that he spends about 2 billion won a year on its operation

Park Jin-young is also known for his strict self-discipline. He said, “The first thing I do when I wake up is memorize 20 English words. My mind wakes up first, and my body wakes up later,” and shared his daily routine, which includes meals, stretching, exercise, and piano and vocal practice

However, experts explain that atopic dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory disease caused by a combination of genetic factors, damage to the skin barrier, immune system abnormalities and environmental factors, so it is difficult to generalize that it can be treated with an organic diet alone. Certain foods may worsen symptoms in some patients, but indiscriminately restricting foods can also lead to nutritional imbalance. If symptoms appear, it is advisable to undergo a specialist’s diagnosis and identify individual triggers.

After the broadcast, online users reacted by saying, “It is impressive that he wants to share the diet that worked for him with his employees,” “I understand why he spends 2 billion won every year on the cafeteria,” “His philosophy of caring for the health of trainees and employees is remarkable,” and “Organic food may not be the answer for everyone, but his consistent self-management is worth emulating.”

Amy Schumer hit post on an Instagram Reel this week — a casual, home-video style clip filmed by her 6-year-old son, Gene — and used the opportunity to make something very clear: Yes, she did lose weight (and at 50 pounds, her weight loss is even more than people speculated). But no, she didn’t do…
