The Seattle Seahawks are hosting free agent safety Donovan Wilson for a workout on Wednesday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter

Wilson, 31, has spent his entire seven-year NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys. He’s made 75 career starts, including 62 starts over the past four seasons
Donovan’s workout comes with standout Seahawks safety/hybrid defender Nick Emmanwori’s status for Week 1 unclear. Emmanwori, the 2025 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year runner-up, underwent ankle surgery earlier this month and is on the physically unable to perform list
A 2019 sixth-round draft pick by the Cowboys, the 6-foot, 204-pound Wilson has totaled eight interceptions, 19 pass breakups, nine forced fumbles, 13.0 sacks and 20 tackles for loss over his seven seasons in Dallas
Wilson had two interceptions, five pass breakups, one forced fumble and three tackles for loss in 2025, which was the final season of his three-year, $21 million deal with the Cowboys. He ranked 83rd out of 85 safeties in Pro Football Focus grading last season
