DarioHealth Corp. (NASDAQ: DRIO) introduced its Integrated GLP-1 Program, bringing licensed provider evaluations, FDA-approved GLP-1 prescribing where clinically appropriate and ongoing care into one experience

DarioHealth Corp. (DRIO:NASDAQ) announced the launch of its Integrated GLP-1 Program, the first commercial offering developed through the company’s collaboration with Beluga Health. The program combines Dario’s digital chronic care platform with licensed provider evaluation, prescribing of FDA-approved GLP-1 medications where clinically appropriate, and ongoing clinical oversight within a single platform

According to the company, Dario has supported members using GLP-1 therapies through AI-powered engagement, connected monitoring, nutrition support and behavioral coaching. Through Beluga’s network of licensed healthcare providers, the platform now also includes medical evaluation, prescribing and clinical oversight

“Dario has expanded beyond the digital engagement and monitoring layer around someone else’s prescription,” Chief Executive Officer Erez Raphael said in a company news release. “With Beluga’s clinical care infrastructure inside our platform, we deliver members the full journey: evaluation, prescription where clinically appropriate, and the chronic care management that determines whether the therapy actually works.”

The company said the launch comes as employers and health plans move away from broad GLP-1 coverage toward clinically managed models. It cited data from the Business Group on Health showing that 67% of surveyed employers are covering GLP-1 medications for weight management in 2026, with 72% of those planning to continue coverage in 2027. Dario also cited the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, which reported that 27% of employers encourage employees to obtain GLP-1 medications through direct-to-consumer platforms, while 21% encourage the use of employer-sponsored healthcare spending and reimbursement accounts.

According to Dario, the program is designed to be available through three channels. The company said it expects to launch through its MyDario Shop beginning in Fall 2026, noting that its digital marketplace has served more than 1 million consumers over the past three years. The program is also expected to be offered through health plan marketplaces and employer B2B2C programs

Across all three channels, Dario said member interactions generate blinded data that its DarioIQ AI engine uses to optimize member outcomes and payer cost savings

“GLP-1 medications deliver the greatest value when they are part of a comprehensive care strategy, not a stand-alone prescription,” Chief Operating Officer Lara Dodo said in the news release. “Dario now combines AI-powered engagement, connected monitoring, personalized coaching and provider-backed clinical care in a single platform, wherever the member comes to us from.”

The company said clinical eligibility for GLP-1 therapy will be determined solely by licensed healthcare providers following a comprehensive medical history review and clinical evaluation consistent with FDA labeling, evidence-based clinical guidelines and applicable state and federal requirements

GLP-1 Therapies Continued to Expand Across Chronic Disease Care

According to a July 9 report from Precedence Research, the global GLP-1 market was valued at US$58.40 billion in 2025 and was projected to reach US$66.46 billion in 2026. The firm said the market was “driven by the expanding clinical indication of these therapies,” which had evolved from treating Type 2 diabetes to chronic weight management and cardiovascular risk reduction. It also identified the shift toward oral therapies as a major trend, stating that oral formulations “directly remove patient barriers” and offer “robust, clinically meaningful weight reduction along with notable cardiometabolic benefits.”

A July 17 report from Straits Research likewise described expanding demand for GLP-1 receptor agonists, citing “the rising prevalence of diabetes and obesity, expanding treatment indications, and growing awareness of metabolic health.” The firm wrote that the market was moving beyond glucose control into “comprehensive cardiometabolic treatment options” as clinical evidence expanded across cardiovascular, renal and weight management applications. Straits Research also said that broader reimbursement for anti-obesity medications was increasing patient access, while manufacturers continued investing in production capacity to address demand, even as the industry remained “highly exposed to supply chain disruptions” because of specialized manufacturing and cold-chain logistics.

Commercial Rollout and Platform Expansion

Dario said commercial availability of the Integrated GLP-1 Program is expected in Fall 2026, with revenue contribution anticipated later in 2026 and ramping through 2027

The company stated that the rollout will include three commercial channels consisting of direct-to-consumer availability through the MyDario Shop, health plan marketplaces and employer B2B2C programs. For employers that carve out GLP-1 medications for obesity, Dario said the offering can be combined with its cardiometabolic programming. The company also said it offers a cost-sharing option with an Rx savings card for employers that wish to maintain a level of subsidy

According to Dario’s July 2026 corporate presentation, the company is expanding beyond digital engagement into provider-backed care that connects monitoring, AI-driven triage and clinical intervention.
