A Nevada-based fitness product manufacturer will design and construct new training equipment and facilities for the Army

BeaverFit North America LLC has seven years, or until Aug. 4, 2033, to complete the $350 million project, per a Pentagon announcement released Aug. 4

On its website, the company says its designs maximize training capacity in any environment

“We help organizations move beyond traditional gyms to build purpose-driven environments that support readiness, performance and long-term use,” the firm <a href="https://healthylife7.com/cyclosporiasis-outbreak-has-expanded-to-six-more-states/” title=”Cyclosporiasis outbreak has expanded to six more states”>states

Under the contract, the Army will receive health-and-fitness structures, human-performance structures, wide-span structures, and human-performance equipment and systems

The contract relates to the Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness, or H2F, program, which the military says is intended to optimize physical and nonphysical performance, reduce injury rates and improve rehabilitation after injury

It involves setting up Soldier Performance Readiness Centers on Army bases. Such facilities will be 43,189 square feet with a minimum of 16-foot ceilings. They must be waterproof, energy efficient and capable of supporting at least 92 pounds per square foot of snow load on the roof
