    The company’s obesity and diabetes franchise remained its biggest growth engine in the second quarter, with blockbuster GLP-1 drugs Mounjaro and Zepbound generating a combined $14.9 billion in revenue

    The two products added $6.3 billion in year-over-year sales, underscoring strong demand for Eli Lilly’s weight-loss and diabetes treatments as the company continues to expand access, launch new products and strengthen its leadership in the fast-growing GLP-1 market

    Mounjaro And Zepbound Drive Strong Quarter

    Adjusted earnings rose to $8.38 per share, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $6.01. Revenue increased 48% year over year to $22.97 billion, exceeding the consensus estimate of $20.73 billion

    The revenue increase was driven by a 60% rise in volume, partly offset by a 13% decline in realized prices

    Revenue from the company’s Key Products portfolio increased to $15.7 billion, led by Mounjaro and Zepbound. Key Products revenue across the Immunology, Oncology and Neuroscience therapeutic areas increased 121%

    Global Mounjaro revenue increased 91% to $9.9 billion. U.S. revenue was $4.8 billion, up 45%, led by strong demand, partially offset by lower realized prices

    U.S. revenue from Zepbound increased 44% to $4.93 billion

    CEO Highlights Pipeline

    “With our next-generation weight-loss medicine retatrutide and its complete clinical data package in hand, new manufacturing capacity coming online, and exciting new assets entering our pipeline through business development, Lilly’s future, after 150 years, has never been brighter,” Chair and CEO David Rickssaid

    Eli Lilly Raises Revenue Outlook

    Eli Lilly narrowed its fiscal 2026 adjusted earnings guidance to $35.50 to $36.50 per share, from its previous range of $35.50 to $37.00. The updated range remains above the analyst consensus estimate of $34.20

    The company raised its fiscal 2026 revenue guidance to $85 billion to $87 billion, from $82 billion to $85 billion. The midpoint of the new range is above the analyst consensus estimate of $85.45 billion

    CVS Health Collaboration

    Earlier this week, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration granted Breakthrough Therapy designation to Eli Lilly’s olomorasib as a monotherapy for patients with advanced pancreatic cancer who have received at least one prior systemic therapy
