Former Ohio State football player shares video of Chris Henry’s ‘beast’ workout

A former Ohio State football player was in awe of freshman wide receiver Chris Henry Jr.’s <a href="https://healthylife7.com/why-omega-3s-deserve-a-spot-in-your-workout-routine/” title=”Why Omega-3s Deserve A Spot In Your Workout Routine”>workout routine
Emeka Onyejekwe, aka hip-hop artist Mekka Don, a former walk-on wide receiver for the Buckeyes, posted a video of Henry Jr. on Aug. 7 doing various plyometric exercises, including strenuous box jumps and hurdles while barefoot
“I broke my knees in three places watching Chris Henry Jr. doing this workout smh. What a beast,” Mekka Don wrote in the caption of his X post
Around the turn of the century, Onyejekwe earned a full-ride academic scholarship to Ohio State and joined the football program. In 2024, he released the song “Buckle Up” and signed an official licensing agreement with Ohio State. The song plays before games at Ohio Stadium
Some fans reacted to Henry Jr.’s workout in the responses to Mekka Don’s post
“Just pulled my hammy and strained my back sitting up to watch this,” one fan wrote
“My knee popped just by looking at this,” wrote another
Henry Jr. ranked as the No. 2 wide receiver and No. 14 overall player in the 2026 class, according to 247Sports. Along with showing off his agility in the workout videos, he is listed at a 6-foot-5-inch frame and weighs 211 pounds
