NEW BLOOMFIELD —Something new is coming to the 2026 Missouri State Fair

MooZOU is a collaboration between Mizzou Agricultural Education and Leadership, Mizzou Animal Sciences and the Missouri Beef Industry Council
“MooZOU gallery for kids is a mobile educational center,” said Rebecca Mott, an assistant professor of agricultural education at the University of Missouri, “designed for children and their families to learn more about beef nutrition through active learning and play-based strategies.”
Mott says more than 50 University of Missouri students have contributed to the design and development of MooZOU. She says part of the goal is to get kids involved in agriculture at an early age
“We know every kid is not going to go into the field of agriculture,” Mott said, “but agriculture affects everyone.”
People can check out MooZOU at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia from August 13th through the 23rd
Mott said the goal is to take the 40-foot trailer on the road following the fair
