Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s preferreddietapparently leaves a sour taste inMarco Rubio’smouth

The Health and Human Services Secretary swears by a diet that is basically meat and fermented foods, one that its creator, Dr. Sean O’Mara, sayswill bring “nearly orgasmic” bowel movements

Although Vice PresidentJD Vance,Howard LutnickandSean Duffyhave reportedly adopted the steak-and-sauerkraut meal plan, Rubio has no intention or desire to join them

During an interview onKatie Miller’spodcastposted Tuesday, the secretary of state mocked his HHS counterpart’s dietary choices

“This is a crazy diet,” Rubio declared. “This is a diet that consists of eating sauerkraut and meat,” before insisting that “it’s not a sustainable thing.”

After Rubio’s wife, Jeanette Dousdebes Rubio, suggested that Kennedy has managed to “sustain” it, he then pointed out the logistical hassles of maintaining it

“He has to travel with coolers of sauerkraut,” Rubio explained. “I’m not gonna travel the world with a cooler full of sauerkraut. It’s ridiculous! I can’t do it. It’s not sustainable for me.”

Miller then asked Rubio if he was a believer in RFK Jr.’s“Make America Healthy Again”campaign, and he confirmed his support

“I’m in favor of MAHA. Like I think people should be healthy,” he said, which caused his wife to cry foul. “No, he is not. He is completely not,” she said

Jeanette Rubio then dropped this scoop: Her husband is obsessed with Pop-Tarts

    Rubio’s response: Where’s the lie?

“The Pop-Tart is one of the great American innovations in the history of the world,” he insisted. “If you think about it, it comes in this beautiful foil pack.”

His wife then revealed that Rubio eats “all the things you should not be eating. Every single thing,” and later told Miller, “He loves fast food. He loves it all.”

RFK Jr.’s steak-and-sauerkraut diet isn’t the only eating program that Rubio doesn’t like. He said he attempted the keto diet, which he said caused a “massive withdrawal from sugar and carbohydrates” for the first 72 hours

“It was a near-psychotic event for me,” he confessed, before joking that if he had attempted the diet while serving as secretary of state, he would have told President Trump, “We must bomb, you know, Paraguay, and, it’s like, why? I don’t know. I’m just really mad.”
