Tua Tagovailoa completed three short passes to open the drive, hitting Drake London twice
Then the drive stalled. Tagovailoa dropped a snap, took pressure from blitzes on back-to-back snaps and threw incomplete four times to give the Indianapolis defense the win

The second round went fairly similar, with the Colts hit-and-miss in the run game. Atlanta’s defense broke through the line for two tackles for a loss. Daniel Jones finished 2-for-2 but both for minimal gains — one to Josh Downs and the other to Seth McGowan

04:03 PM ET, August 20 2026, Joel A. Erickson
Indianapolis and Atlanta are focused on the red zone today. When the Falcons’ first-team offense goes to Drake London, they get points
Otherwise, the Colts are forcing incompletions. Camryn Bynum broke up a pass, Cam Taylor-Britt forced an incompletion. Arden Key also produced a sack
Colts 1st-team offense 11-on-11 round 1 (red zone)
04:03 PM ET, August 20 2026, Nathan Brown
As was the case yesterday, the Colts offense started struggling to move the ball much in the run game. A couple Jonathan Taylor runs were stuffed early before both he and Seth McGiwan got 4 yards each on a couple

Daniel Jones finished 1-for-2, both passes intended for tight end Will Mallory. The offense did not score a touchdown
Sauce vs. London
04:00 PM ET, August 20 2026, Joel A. Erickson
The 1-on-1 red zone battle between Sauce Gardner and Drake London was incredible. Gardner had a physical punch on the first rep, but London made an incredible move to make the catch. Then Gardner won the next two, one by pinning London to the sideline and the other with a breakup over the middle
Brian Mason on field…and coaching
03:32 PM ET, August 20 2026, Nathan Brown
Not only is Colts special teams coach Brian Mason still on the field with a near-full-leg brace on his left leg after getting run into on the final play of last week’s preseason game, but Mason is actively involved in calling plays and giving direction during the special teams periods, too

Head coach Shane Steichen said over the weekend that Mason may not need surgery but will coach in the press box for at least the remainder of the preseason
