CANTON ‒ Families looking to build healthier habits and stretch their food budgets can participate in the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program, a free series offered through a partnership with Ohio State University and the Early Childhood Re
The program will meet from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays from Sept. 1 through Oct. 13 at the Early Childhood Re
The program helps parents learn practical strategies for healthy eating and active living through hands-on lessons, group discussion, exercise, and recipe preparation. Participants will learn how to make healthier food choices, plan and shop for nutritious meals that fit their budget and keep their family’s food safe
Each participant receives a take-home tool at every session and earns a graduation certificate from Ohio State University upon completing the series
Registration is not required. Community members may simply stop in and join the program
