Tulsa Police arrest woman accused of stealing belongings from several Planet Fitness gyms

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department arrested a woman accused of stealing belongings and credit cards from several Plant Fitness locations in the Tulsa area
Around 4:40 p.m. on Aug. 12, police said a woman at the Planet Fitness near East 71st Street and Riverside Drive reported her Louis Vuitton bag with all of her personal belongings had been stolen out of her gym locker
According to authorities, the 35-year-old suspect can be seen checking into the gym and entering the locker room before leaving within a few minutes around the time the woman’s items were stolen
Police said the woman’s stolen credit card was then used at a gas pump a short time later
On Aug. 13, authorities said a victim at the Planet Fitness located at East 91st Street and Memorial Drive reported she’d found her car’s trunk open in the gym’s parking lot
Law enforcement said the woman checked her car and gym locker and found several of her belongings were missing
Officers said the suspect can be seen checking into that gym location with another member’s stolen ID card around the time of the second burglary
On Aug. 19, another burglary was reported at the Planet Fitness located at East Admiral Place and South 70th East Avenue. Once again, police said the suspect can be spotted at the location around the time the burglary occurred
On Saturday, two victims at the 91st and Memorial location said the locks on their gym lockers had been cut and their items stolen
Authorities said the suspect can also be seen at that gym before the victims’ credit cards were used at multiple convenience stores shortly afterward
On Sunday, officers said they found the suspect sitting in one of the massage chairs at the Planet Fitness location at Admiral and 70th East Avenue
According to police, she was carrying bolt cutters and several ID cards that didn’t belong to her
Authorities said the suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Tulsa County Jail
She’s currently facing the following charges:
- Seven Counts of Second-Degree Burglary
- Two Counts of Unauthorized Use of a Debit/Credit Card
- False Impersonation
KTUL is not using the suspect’s name or mugshot since official charges have yet to be filed in this case
