Aviva launches new workplace wellbeing seminar programme to help employers support more engaged workforces

Aviva has launched a new wellbeing seminar programme designed to help employers better understand – and more confidently support – the health and financial wellbeing needs of their workforce

Available as a free benefit to Aviva’s workplace pension clients, the programme gives employers access to specialist wellbeing experts who provide practical insight and guidance across key areas including mental health, neurodiversity and physical wellbeing. Delivered through bespoke online webinars, the sessions aim to build knowledge, capability and confidence so that wellbeing support in the workplace is better informed and effective

Alongside this employer-focused offer, a dedicated support programme is also available directly to employees. This provides individuals with access to webinars and guidance to help them better manage their own health and wellbeing. Together, this dual focus helps to ensure employers are better equipped to create supportive workplace environments, while employees feel understood, supported and empowered

This programme is about building confidence and capability – giving employers practical, expert insight, while also empowering employees to better understand and manage their own wellbeing.

The employee seminars cover a range of topics, including stress and resilience, managing work‑life balance, and physical wellbeing sessions such as musculoskeletal health

The programme draws on expertise from across Aviva’s Health and Protection businesses, reflecting its broader, joined‑up approach to workplace wellbeing

The latest launch builds on Aviva’s wider commitment to supporting financial wellbeing. In March this year1, Aviva introduced a new financial wellbeing tool for workplace pension members, designed to help individuals understand and manage their financial health. The tool also provides employers and trustees with insights into employee engagement, helping them tailor support to the needs of their workforce. Initially available to members of the Aviva Master Trust, the free tool can be accessed via the Aviva app and online pension portal.

Laura Stewart‑Smith, Head of Pension Engagement at Aviva, said: “Employers increasingly recognise the link between wellbeing, engagement and long‑term performance, but many might not feel fully equipped to support their people in a meaningful way. This programme is about building confidence and capability – giving employers practical, expert insight, while also empowering employees to better understand and manage their own wellbeing. By taking a more joined‑up approach, we want to help employers create environments where people feel supported and thrive over the long term. That support plays an important role in helping people feel more confident about planning ahead and engaging with long‑term decisions such as pension saving.”
