KINGSPORT — Dr. Carli Cooper has joined Ballad Health Medical Associates Comprehensive <a href="https://healthylife7.com/breaking-new-ground-foundayo-pill-revolutionizes-weight-management-and-diabetes-care-in-europe/” title=”Breaking New Ground: Foundayo Pill Revolutionizes Weight Management and Diabetes Care in Europe”>Weight Management Center – Kingsport, according to a Friday press release.
The physician will specialize in obesity medicine at the facility, which is a department of Indian Path Community Hospital. Among other care options, her services include anti-obesity medication management, diabetes care and nutritional assessment and counseling, according to the news release.
“As an osteopathic physician, I firmly believe in treating the whole person, mind, body and spirit,” Cooper said in the release. “As an obesity medicine physician, treatment requires careful consideration of the individual and their particular circumstance.”
The physician is board-certified in family and obesity medicine, according to the news release. She has degrees from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and New College of Florida. She completed an internship in family medicine at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and a residency in family medicine at the University of North Carolina Health-Blue Ridge.
