    Indianapolis, IN / Jul 24, 2026 / Bone-IQ

Bone-IQ announced the launch of its personalized bone health app on iOS and Android, bringing evidence-based exercise directly to people living with osteopenia and osteoporosis

Strength training is an interventions proven to improve bone health, reduce falls, and lower fracture risk. Yet despite decades of research, most patients leave a diagnosis with little guidance beyond medication and general advice to “exercise more.” Specialized osteoporosis exercise programs remain difficult to access due to geography, cost, and the limited number of trained providers

Bone-IQ addresses this gap through personalized, adaptive strength and impact training that meets users where they are. After completing a short onboarding assessment, each user receives a customized program based on their diagnosis, experience level, and available equipment. Workouts adapt over time using in-app feedback, helping users progress safely while building strength and confidence

The company was founded by biomedical engineer and orthopedic medical device entrepreneur Lexi Lewis and Weill Cornell medical student Benjamin Wesorick after helping navigate Lexi’s mother’s hip fracture and osteoporosis diagnosis

“After my mom’s fracture, we discovered there was already strong scientific evidence supporting strength and impact training for osteoporosis, but almost none of it was translated into practical guidance for patients,” said Lewis. “Bone-IQ was built to bridge that gap and make clinically informed bone health training accessible to anyone with a smartphone.”

Prior to launch, Bone-IQ completed a nine-month beta with 30 people diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis to refine its adaptive programming and user experience. The platform is now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play, with its first paying customers joining through organic referrals and community outreach

Looking ahead, Bone-IQ plans to expand the platform with progress tracking, AI-powered coaching, and computer vision technology to deliver real-time movement feedback and functional assessments that complement traditional bone health monitoring
