- ONC released v7 of USCDI, the United States Core Data for Interoperability standard. It includes 30 new data elements, 15 of which are already represented in implementation specifications required in the ONC Health IT Certification Program and are already largely supported by certified health IT.
- In addition, ONC announced nine Phase 1 winners of its EHIgnite Challenge to “use advanced AI to turn dense [electronic health information] exports into clearer, actionable information for patients, caregivers, and clinicians.” The winners move on to Phase 2, which will conclude in March 2027.

- Research from Accenture found only 41% of patients are able to book care when they need it (a decrease from 48% in 2021), and only 65% are committed to staying with their current provider.
- Research from Avalon Healthcare Solutions found routine testing spend increased 3.7% in 2025 while utilization grew just 0.5%.
- According to a Carta Healthcare survey, 92% of healthcare leaders believe deep healthcare domain expertise is critical when evaluating an AI vendor.
- A Health-ISAC survey found 80% of CISOs say AI has doubled the speed at which new attack variants appear.
- A survey from mPulse found 88% of health plan members believe real-time or near real-time digital support is important.

- Independent medical practice software maker AdvancedMD integrated additional features from Waystar, an RCM partner.
- EBSCO Clinical Decisions and the International Home Care Nurses Organization are partnering to improve clinical practice guidelines for home-based professional nursing.
- Dental practice management system Open Dental connected to Kno2’s QHIN.

- Casana launched the Smart Seat, a toilet seat that monitors blood pressure trends, heart rate, blood oxygen, and respiratory rate.
- FUJIFILM Sosonite launched Sonosite iLOOK, a point-of-care ultrasound tool designed for vascular (blood vessel) access.
- GE HealthCare introduced MIM Anyware, a remote access platform for secure access to imaging data through a web browser.
- HealthTrust Performance Group launched Signal to synthesize data on purchasing activity, contract performance, cost trends. and operational outcomes.
- Luma Health announced Patient Pipeline to connect patients shopping for care with health systems’ open capacity.
- MedScout launched openpayments.healthcare, a free platform for exploring CMS Open Payments data by company, drug or device brand name, or provider.
- OpenAI launched Health in ChatGPT for U.S.-based users.
- Patient scheduling platform Relatient added clinical request automation capabilities to its Dash Voice AI solution.
- Senior living care management platform Sage launched Labor to connect resident needs, staff schedules, and budget goals into one place.
- Teladoc Health announced Teladoc One, a virtual care practice that also includes human care and AI-driven support.
- WellSky added intelligence dashboards to the WellSky CarePort Care Transitions Dashboard Suite.
- Withings announced Withings Medical, a clinical care service for the Medicare-eligible population as part of the CMS ACCESS Model. In addition, the home health station Withings BodyScan 2 is now available in the United States and is FSA/HSA eligible.

- North Dakota’s Towner County Medical Center standardized on Epson business inkjet printers within its Epic environment.
- NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde selected Flatiron Health UK as its real-world data partner.
- Ten community health organizations went live on OCHIN’s Epic EHR implementation.

- AGFA HealthCare’s Enterprise Imaging platform renewed its certified status from HITRUST for cybersecurity and information protection.
- Research from AnswersNow demonstrated measurable progress for families affected by autism spectrum disorders using virtual applied behavior analysis, in a study done with the Clemson Center for Behavior Analysis.
- Gentherm received FDA clearance for the ThermAffyx Patient Safety System, whish supports patient warming, securement and pressure reduction during robot-assisted surgery.
- Inovalon achieved NCQA HEDIS Measure Certification for Converged Quality; additionally, NCQA validated Inovalon’s Converged Quality measure engine for digital quality measures.
- Royal Philips announced FDA clearance of Philips SpO₂, a reusable clip sensor for measuring oxygen saturation.
- Research from Ultromics found AI could identify patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction up to nine months earlier than standard clinical care.
