YOKOSUKA, Japan (Aug. 15, 2026) – Participants pose for a selfie before the start of the annual Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Night Run outside the Purdy Fitness Center onboard Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY). Hosted by CFAY MWR, the evening event brought together participants of all ages wearing high-visibility gear to promote physical fitness and community wellness. CFAY provides, maintains and operates base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel and their families.
