Director of Community Development Rachel Carpenter says the court has already hosted different events like Battle of the Badges and more are planned for the future. She says this new grant will allow the city to keep updating the park to continue making fitness a priority in the community

A previous $50,000 grant from the National Fitness Campaign and matching city funds helped originally bring the fitness court vision to life
