Ind. (WPTA) – A full-scale emergency response exercise is scheduled to be held in Wells County in mid-August
The Wells County Local Emergency Planning Committee and Wells County Emergency Management Agency, in partnership with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, are alerting residents that there will be an increased presence of emergency responders and vehicles near the industrial park in Ossian from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on August 11
Organizers note that the exercise is controlled with no threat to the public and say in addition to an increased presence of emergency responders and vehicles, residents can expect to see signals, sirens, and slower traffic nearby
“Thank you for helping make Wells County a safer, more resilient community!” organizers said
