Hiltonis accelerating its expansion in Southeast Asia with three new lifestyle hotels in Thailand and the Maldives as it targets growing demand for experience-led travel. The hotel group has signed a Curio Collection by Hilton resort in Phuket and two Tapestry Collection by Hilton properties in Chiang Mai and the Maldives
The additions support Hilton’s ambition to surpass 250 luxury and lifestyle hotels across Asia Pacificwhile more than doubling its portfolio in Southeast Asia
The latest signings follow the recent opening of Kahavadi Chiang Rai, Curio Collection by Hilton. Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit and Nivata Koh Samui, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, are also due to welcome guests later this year

Curio Collection arrives in Phuket
The 246-room Andamanda Voyage, Curio Collection by Hilton, is scheduled to open by the end of 2026, becoming the brand’s first hotel in Phuket
Located within the Andamanda Waterpark complex in Kathu, the resort will provide easy access to shopping, dining and many of Phuket’s leading attractions, including Old Town, Patong and Karon beaches, Phuket FantaSea and Carnival Magic
The property will strengthen Hilton’s growing presence on the island ahead of the planned 2027 opening of The Rawai Phuket, its first LXR Hotels & Resorts property in Phuket
Chiang Mai gains first Tapestry Collection
Hilton is also bringing its Tapestry Collection brand to Chiang Mai for the first time
The 65-room boutique hotel will occupy a heritage building in the city’s historic Old Town, placing guests within walking distance of centuries-old temples, markets and the famous weekend walking streets
Designed to reflect Northern Thailand’s architectural heritage, the hotel will focus on local character and curated guest experiences
Maldives debut
The Maldives will welcome its first Tapestry Collection by Hilton property when Coco de Mer Maldives opens in June 2027
The 75-room resort will be located just 25 minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport, offering a convenient island getaway with restaurants, a wellness center, water sports and other leisure facilities
Maria Ariizumi, vice president of development for Southeast Asia at Hilton, said demand from hotel owners for lifestyle brands continues to grow
She said the latest projects will help Hilton expand in high-demand resort and cultural destinations while meeting travelers’ growing appetite for distinctive hotels that reflect local culture
Hilton continues to build one of the region’s fastest-growing luxury and lifestyle portfolios as South and Southeast Asia remains a key growth market for international tourism
