Leather is famously a gross fabric to sweat in. And yet Lenny Kravitz, also famously, wears leather pants to work out at the gym. While this is undeniably goofy (it’s 2026! We have stretchy, moisture-wicking fabrics now!), Kravitz may actually have a practical reason for his workout leathers beyond just looking hot
In a <a href="https://www.menshealth.com/fitness/a71665105/lenny-kravitz-abs-interview/” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>Men’s Health interview, Kravitz shared the totally logical reason behind his unconventional gymwear. “I perform onstage in leather, denim, <a href="https://healthylife7.com/ozempic-feet-what-causes-this-unusual-glp/” title=”‘Ozempic Feet:’ What Causes This Unusual GLP”>whatever, so those are the pants I wear to train,” he explained. Put this way, it is not unlike Taylor Swift singing on the treadmill to prepare for the Eras Tour. On another practical note, Kravitz said, it means he can “fit in a workout anytime, anywhere,” whether he has his gym bag on him or not. Furthermore, how his pants fit is how Kravitz assesses his personal fitness. “I can gauge everything by how I’m in my pants,” Kravitz said. “Like, if my pants are a little tight, I know I’m getting outta shape.”
And, you know what, that is not the worst reasoning I’ve ever heard. Even if I, personally, would rather die than sweat in leather pants. Now, if Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has an equally logical rationale for working out in tight jeans, I’m all ears
