“No matter where life takes me, I always try to make time to strengthen my body. The cardio that comes with walking city streets, a park or a beach is wonderful, but I also need the weight training,” wrote Maples in her Instagram caption
“It doesn’t have to be a long workout. Just 20 minutes leaves me feeling more grounded, clear-minded, and accomplished as I move forward with the day,” she added, teasing that she had more information to offer on her subscribers’ channel
According to her post, her workout routine on vacation consists of: “stretching first; stability ball for stretching, core work and crunches; 10-15 lb dumbbells for chest press, shoulder press and flyes; dumbbell behind the knee for leg lifts and fire hydrants; headstands or handstand push-ups, if it feels safe for you; choose the stairs instead of the elevator whenever you can; stay hydrated.”
“Marla you are truly stunning what ever routine you do works perfectly,” wrote one admiring fan in the comment section. Another asked for Maples to share her eating habits as well. She has publicly stated that she is “mostly-vegan,” eats organic foods and is both gluten-free and dairy-free
Maples’ website offers recipes under a section titled “Marla’s Mindful Eats.” Recipes include a gluten-free pecan pie, a lima bean and broccoli casserole and a kale and quinoa salad
Maples heads the Marla Maples Foundation, which provides “financial assistance, wellness reit matters most.” The organization focuses on holistic wellness and healing as well as “human connection.” The foundation also provides funding to “independent filmmakers who shine a light on issues which affect humanity.”

Maples is also a part of U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy’s Children’s Health Defense Fund. The organization, initially called the World Mercury Project, has been accused of peddling misinformation about vaccines, including perpetuating the notion that a child can develop autism from receiving a vaccine. The fund has also campaigned against the fluoridation of drinking water despite the World Health Organization recommending that water in the U.S. have fluoride levels of 0.7 mg/L.
The president’s second wife previously re-posted an Instagram post from Kennedy, pushing a right-wing conspiracy theory that Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates orchestrated the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic in order to implement tracking “chips” to monitor and control those who received a COVID-19 vaccine
