Marriott International and Therme Group have formed a strategic alliance to explore initiatives focused on integrating well-being more closely into the travel and hospitality experience
The collaboration will bring together Therme’s expertise in large-scale wellness, longevity and social experiences with Marriott’s global hospitality platform, initially focusing on Marriott Bonvoy members through travel packages linked to Therme destinations and new approaches to guest well-being
Therme will also work with the Marriott Design Lab, the hotel group’s <a href="https://healthylife7.com/center-for-nursing-research-announces-2026-27-virtual-talks/” title=”Center for Nursing Research announces 2026-27 virtual talks”>research and development hub, to explore ways of incorporating well-being into hotel design, including spas, fitness facilities and guestroom concepts. The collaboration will also examine customer experience, design innovation, wellness research and potential future development opportunities
The companies said the initiative aims to support both near-term projects and longer-term opportunities across product innovation, service models and destination planning. Any future collaborations remain subject to further agreement
Peggy Roe, EVP and chief customer officer at Marriott International, said: “Today’s guests are looking for experiences that help them slow down, recharge, and reconnect, making well-being an increasingly important part of the journey. Together, we have an opportunity to create moments of restoration, joy, and connection that elevate every stay and create experiences guests won’t find anywhere else.”
Robert Hanea, president and CEO of Therme Group, added: “Well-being has become a defining dimension of the travel and hospitality experience. This partnership with Marriott is an exciting opportunity to bring our complementary strengths together as we explore new ways to shape the intersection of hospitality and well-being.”
