A new fitness studio is offering a fresh approach to strength training, promising results in just 20 minutes a week
Fit20 has launched in Pinner, run by husband and wife Dinesh and Heena Kathrecha, who were looking to build a business with purpose using their backgrounds in retail leadership and NHS finance
The studio offers a structured strength training programme based on a single, supervised 20-minute session each week

The couple said: “We reached a stage where we wanted more control over our future and wanted to build something meaningful. We were looking for a business that aligned with our values and allowed us to help people live healthier, stronger, and more confident lives.”
Unlike traditional gyms, fit20 focuses on safe, efficient strength building using a method backed by the world’s largest strength-training study
The Kathrechas said they were drawn to the science behind the concept and its accessibility, with Heena Kathrecha adding: “What stood out to us was that fit20 isn’t about spending hours in a gym
“It’s evidence-based, highly structured, and designed around helping people build strength in a way that fits into real life.”

The studio aims to serve a broad community, from working professionals and parents to older adults seeking to maintain strength, balance and independence
The Kathrechas chose Pinner Eastcote for its focus on health and wellbeing, as well as their personal ties to the area. They added it was important to offer something “genuinely different” for those who “don’t enjoy traditional gyms or struggle to find time.”
Niri Patel, managing director of fit20 UK, said: “Dinesh and Heena bring an exciting combination of operational experience, community focus, and genuine passion for helping people improve their health. We’re delighted to welcome them to the fit20 family and excited to see the impact they make in Pinner.”
