Osage Ambulance District Announces Community Healthcare Vending Machine in Chamois

The Osage Ambulance District Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) Program announced Monday an additional installation of a community Risk Reduction and Healthcare Vending Machine in Chamois
The machine is located beside the Chamois Fire Department in front of the city hall entrance at 200 Main Street, Chamois, MO 65024
According to a Facebook post, the vending machine has been strategically placed in a central and accessible location in Chamois through a partnership with the Chamois Fire Department and the City of Chamois
The Risk Reduction and Healthcare Vending Machine is designed to improve access to important health and wellness re communities
Available items may include overdose prevention supplies, personal health and hygiene products, educational materials, and other res to care
“This project is another step forward in our commitment to meeting people where they are and providing accessible healthcare resources throughout our community,” said EMS Chief Joshua A. Krull, Program Director of the Osage County Mobile Integrated Healthcare Program. “By placing these machines in convenient locations, we hope to improve access to critical health resources, support individuals in need, and continue our efforts to address substance use disorders and other community health challenges.”
