Prattville announces indoor rock climbing facility

PRATTVILLE − Prattville’s entertainment and activities options are growing with an indoor rock climbing gym
The Hanger is under construction at 781 Old Ridge Road, the City of Prattville announced on its social media outlets. It will be the River Region’s first indoor rock climbing location, the announcement stated. It is expected to be open mid-2027
Owners of the business could not be reached for comment. The Hanger’s Instagram page states that walls taller than 30 feet will be among the climbing options offered
“This is another family friendly activity for people in Prattville and the River Region,” said Mayor Bill Gillespie Jr. “It will be great for the young and young at heart.”
