Next week, people will be coming together to raise awareness about juvenile arthritis, while supporting the many children who live with the disease
Ava’s Strong is hosting it’s 3rd annual Warm Winter Wonderland fundraiser on Thursday, July 23. The organization was created in honor of Ava St. Martin, a local 6-year-old girl who was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis when she was 2-years-old. It’s a painful and debilitating disease that affects more than 300,000 kids across the country
At the event, people can enjoy dinner, raffles, auctions, and fundraising activities while helping support children and families impacted by juvenile arthritis and chronic illness
The money raised will help fund programs, provide support to local pediatric infusion centers, and bring comfort and joy to families navigating medical challenges
Warm Winter Wonderland is 5:30 to 9:30pm July 23 at Duo of the Dunes in Albany. Ticket sales end on Thursday, July 16. You can get tickets and learn more here
