The network is also seeking to replace Karl Stefanovic, who left the program in late June
While Samantha confirmed to The Daily Telegraphthat she would be appearing on the breakfast show soon, there is “there is no job offer” at the moment

“I don’t know, is the answer to that,” she told News Corp
“I don’t have anything left to prove in that breakfast TV role. I have done that at the highest levels and done it really well.”

News of her return to the Today show left many Aussies in two camps: some were thrilled to see her back on brekkie TV, while others were keen on seeing someone else in the hot seat

A poll of more than 4,000 Yahoo Lifestyle readers found that Samantha scored only 11 per cent of the vote for the best person to replace Karl Stefanovic
The top pick was Nine’s chief political reporter Charles Croucher with 37 per cent, followed very closely by Rodger Corser, the host of Channel 9’s game show, The Floor,on 35 per cent
