In an Instagram photo, Biles is seen smiling in a hospital gown and surgical cap while her husband, Indianapolis Colts safety Johnathan Owens, sits beside her. Biles said Owens spent his 31st birthday accompanying her to the appointment
“His birthday but he takes me to get my procedure 🥹🥹🥹🤍🤍🤍,” she wrote over the image. “I woke up singing bossman dlow ‘talk my s–t’ 🤣🤣🤣🤣.”
Biles didn’t share any details about the procedure or what prompted it and information about her condition remains unclear. Despite the circumstances, she appeared upbeat in the photo, with Owens by her side as she underwent the undisclosed operation
Last month, Biles shared limited details about a frightening health scare she experienced on June 6. Despite saying she values “privacy in today’s age,” the gymnast told followers she decided to open up because “almost dying” wasn’t on her “bingo card.”
The 41‑time Olympic and world medalist posted a photo of three hospital wristbands along with images of bouquets, thanking members of her “close circle” who sent flowers, visited and checked in on her
“This was one of, if not the scariest experience of my life,” Biles said, noting she had been resting in bed throughout the week
Sione Biles spoke with Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans at Netflix’s FYC red carpet for “Simone Biles Rising” and talked about the docuseries. She also gushed about her current era of life, husband Jonathan Owens and revealed what her “Housewives” tagline would be.
She also mentioned the timing added stress, explaining that Owens was in Indianapolis for practice sessions when the scare happened. “I’ll explain sooner or later,” Biles said of the incident
Biles and Owens married in April 2023. The couple has shared glimpses of their relationship online ever since, often highlighting how they support each other through both career highs and personal challenges
