Steelers bring in 10-year NFL veteran for workout at training camp

Training camp has gone off without a hitch for the Pittsburgh Steelers, as several players have already begun to make a name for themselves in Latrobe. But the Steelers are looking at potentially bringing in a new face: a 10-year NFL veteran
On Friday, it was reported that the Steelers brought in veteran safety Rayshawn Jenkins for a workout
Jenkins, who was selected by the Chargers in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, played four seasons with Los Angeles (2017-2020), three seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2021-2023), one season with the Seattle Seahawks (2024), and one season with the Cleveland Browns (2025)
2026 will mark Year 10 for Jenkins, a standout safety who’s recorded 11 interceptions and 562 combined tackles in 139 career games. Jenkins may face competition for a deal with the Steelers, however, as the team brought in another safety for a visit one day earlier: Jordan Whitehead
