Taking place at the Whitesboro High School, located at 6000 NY-291 in Marcy, an official statement from the Whitesboro Central School District officials said that this will be both a training exercise and a way to evaluate the entire crisis response system under realistic circumstances
“While there will be a large presence of first responders, this is not a real emergency,” Whitesboro Central School District officials wrote
Over 60 participants are expected to be in attendance, including local police and fire departments, Oneida County and New York State police agencies, a hazmat team, Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Oneida County Emergency Services, local media and District staff
Those with further questions can contact Whitesboro Assistant Superintendent for Business Joe Muller at 315-266-3306
