    3rd Symposium “Artificial Intelligence in Public Health Research”

    The Centre for Artificial Intelligence in Public Health Research (ZKI-PH) at the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) is pleased to announce the3rd Symposium ‘Artificial Intelligence in Public Health Research’, taking place on 9–10 September 2026 in Berlin, Germany

    The symposium brings together leading researchers, public health professionals, policymakers, and innovators to discuss the latest developments in artificial intelligence and machine learning for public health research. The event aims to foster interdisciplinary exchange and strengthen collaboration between academia, public health institutions, government agencies, and technology experts

    Event Details

    Venue: Conference Centre of the German Federal Ministries, Mauerstraße 27, 10117 Berlin, Germany

    Host: Robert Koch Institute, Centre for Artificial Intelligence in Public Health Research (RKI ZKI-PH)Expected Audience: Approximately 200 participants from public health institutions, research organizations, universities, government agencies, and international organizations

    Symposium Topics

    The programme will address current developments in AI and machine learning across the following areas:

    • AI-Supported Decision-Making in Public Health, NCDs and Prevention
    • AI-Supported Decision-Making in Public Health, Infectious Diseases and AMR
    • AI/ML for Pandemic Preparedness
    • Regulatory Framework and Ethics for AI/ML in Public Health
    • Climate Change and Public Health

    The symposium will also feature keynote lectures, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and a poster session
