A snack sold at Aussie supermarkets, retailers, and online has been recalled
Snackbrands Australia issued the alert on Friday that its various Chickadees products are being pulled from shelves due to the presence of foreign matter
Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) said rubber was detected in the snacks, which could cause illness if it’s consumed
“Consumers should not eat this product,” the food safety authority said

There are four affected products involved in the recall:
Chickadees Multipack 6x19g (114g)
They have a Best Before Date (BBD) of August 1, August 8, and August 12
Chickadees 190g: BBD 15 August
Chickadees 90g: BBD 12 December
Chickadees 45g: BBD 12 December
Aussies who bought these products can return them for a full refund
