During a rapid fire with CNBC TV18 in 2023, when the actress was asked to pick a vegetable that is a “superpower”, she was quick to side with lauki or bottle gourd. “I am a big fan of lauki. I feel it is a gut-friendly vegetable. It has helped me…Sometimes, I don’t take medication, but I would have dudhi soup, a plain lauki salad or a lauki sabzi. It really helps me. I think it is the superpower vegetable. Not cool, but it’s what it is. I think the taste…it comes straight from the farm…and it has got that nice taste.” Scroll down to learn more about its benefits and how you can add it in your daily diet.
